Fundación Vía Libre is a non-profit civil society organization founded in Córdoba, Argentina, in 2000. Since its beginnings, our work has focused on promoting free software as a tool for the dissemination of knowledge and sustainable development. Over time, we expanded our mission to address key issues related to social, economic, and cultural rights, as well as civil and political rights, in a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies. Our mission is to promote and defend fundamental rights in environments mediated by information and communication technologies. In particular, we work on monitoring public policies, raising awareness around key issues on our agenda, building capacities, and fostering debates on how technologies impact the exercise of Human Rights.
