Metadata

mcf — Matses (mcf)

This datasheet is for cv-corpus-25.0-2026-03-09 of the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset for Matses [mcf - mcf]. The dataset contains 13990 clips representing 10.32 hours of recorded speech (10.24 hours validated) from 21 speakers, recorded from a text corpus of 997 sentences.

Language

The Matsés language, ISO code mcf belongs to the Pano family and is spoken in the basins of the Gálvez and Yaquirana rivers, and in the Añushiyacu creek, in the Loreto department of Peru. It has also traditionally been known as "mayuruna", although today the speakers themselves prefer to call it Matsés.
